I have a "kitten" who's about 15 pounds, and am trying to figure out how I'm going to make it impossible for him to climb or knock over the tree (our 18 pound cat did that year before last - and the 10 foot tree with ornaments sounds LOUD when it hits the floor!).
We have a German Shepherd, too - luckily, he's smart enough that we were easily able to teach him to stay out of the living room altogether.
