Well Stephanie has been running a fever of 98.2-100.3 since Monday. Since she is on a steriod that mask about 2-3 degress of fever temp this is really bad. They had us take her to the local ER for all kinds of blood workup incase she had an infection in the port they put in for chemo treatments.

Well no infection which is good news but the she could have a cold or something else which is not good at all. They decided since she was going up to UAB in the morning not to airlift or send her by ambulance in. The had her get an anitbiotic I-V thru the port to hold her over till she gets to UAB.

It was really scarey when Kathie called me and told me to rush her to the ER ASAP this afternoon. I just hope she is not coming down with something, of the kids that die from Hodgkin's 50% of it is from them getting sick from something else while they are getting chemo and they have no immune system.

So I am bumming again, good not an infection but what the heck is it that is causing the fever?
