I did notice that it makes about 100 hp/L, and its limited torque (151 ft-lbs) peaks very high in its rpm range (6600 rpm). I'd put my money on a V6 Camaro in a straight line -and I don't see anyone calling those monsters. Things change if the curb weight starts to approach a mere 2000 lbs, but I don't see that happening.

I just saw the weight specs revealed for the Subaru version ... 2689 lbs. The Toyota has to be within a few pounds. This is going to be a dog down low and in the midrange. Get the revs up it shouldn't be too bad, but still not terribly impressive. But I guess if its supposed to compete against cars like the RX8 it should do well enough.
