No slicks. There'll be an optional "angled spikes" that when the launch control is activated, the angled spikes will protrude and dig into the soft tarmac to aid "hooking up" and they will retrack when the driver shifts to 3rd gear. This option apparently adds only 10 pounds as opposed to hundreds if IRS is used. The spikes are made of space-age material (hush hush compound).
