Girls are strange creatures that way.
This advice was given to me by a female co-worker to get back together with my ex-girlfriend and it did work. My ex gave the whole, "it's not you it's me" speech.
Easier said than done, but forget her, and move on. That's the best revenge you can have against a girl like that.
