I've been lurking around here for awhile, but waited to give my new member intro until everything was finalized. As of yesterday I am the owner of a 2010 SS with a babied 20,000 miles on it. I am not new to the LS platform, or the camaro's. I sold my 07 TBSS a couple of months ago as I hated seeing the miles rack up on it, but let me tell you I miss it, and recently, I just completed a restore on a 1993 Z28 that I made into a little bit of an SS conversion.
A little history on the 5th Gen. I bought the car from my previous boss, who absolutely babied the car. She was driven maybe 3 times a month until recently, and with the tough economic times, they needed to sell a company asset, their loss my gain
To my knowledge, the camaro was the first order placed in California, and was one of the first 5th gens delivered out of the production line. The car serves for a bit of 5th gen history to say the least. Upon receiving the car, it was immediately taken to magnaflow and they developed all of their current kits they offer for the 5th off of my car. From there it was dropped off at K&N and they developed their cold air kit, not that I am huge fan of the kit but it works... The only disappointment in the car I have is when it was ordered, they did not have the RS lighting package available...
With the exception of the GM body kit, intake, exhaust, the car is stock. I had a tune on it, but I took it off so I can have some minor dealer work done. Anywho, I look forward to seeing what I can find and dig into on this site. If anyone has any questions about me purchasing or selling items, I know how the newbie stuff works.
