Congratulations steveo9043! I've driven manual trans for most of my life, but the engagement on the M6 is difficult to learn. Got to find the exact spot. IMHO there is way too long a throw on the pedal with nothing past the mid point. In any event, you made the right choice. Traffic is not a problem once you get experienced - although it can be hell if you get in one of those interstate rolling stops that drag on and on and on.
