Maybe manufacturer's haven't figured out yet how to make reliable LED turn signals?
I know people who would replace the regular halogen bulb with one of those star-pattern LED replacement bulbs would have issues with the bulb blinking at ridiculous rates of speed and would need an in-line resistor wired in.
