No. I have LEDs (Halos).

I don't like the dotted pinpoint style. I thought they look like xmas lights or those cheezy disco plastic light tubes from the 80's. It reminds me of what you might see on a car in an 80's sci-fi show (Buck Rogers *cough* *cough*)

Even Jeremy Clarkson panned the look when Audi first put them out. He called them "fairy lights" which is what they call christmas lights over in the UK. I think it's WRETCHED looking. Even Audi made a commercial drawing a parallel to christmas lights. Yuck.

My point was it looks like Audi and others put LEDs on their cars and went out of their way to make it obvious they had LEDs in spite of the fact they look like crap they way they styled it. It looks like they were TRYING TOO HARD to show they had LEDs.

By the way, the 2000 Cadillac full-size (not sure the designator) had LED taillights and I believe it was the first car ever to have them. They put a diffuser lens over them and so they look a lot less gaudy.

I believe it is because your backup lamp must actually project light similar to a headlamp where as the brake lights only have to light up.
I was asking why they put the regular bulb in the TURN SIGNALs of many cars with LED taillights. It seems to me like the LED would be better there.
