That said...I don't really care what engine size is in the car, so long as it serves its purpose. For example, I LOVE my Cobalt...it has a 4 cyl. I love it as a peppy, yet efficient daily-driver, and have no desire to see any larger of an engine inside.

It's no secret that I dislike any and all foreign manufacturers...and that is, in a nutshell, all because they aren't on a tight enough leash in this country, imo. But that's a political/economic discussion for another day.

You may remember I gave the genesis coupe a pretty cold shoulder in this section. That's because I spend my energies rooting for the home teams: GM, Ford, and part of Chrysler...and that doesn't leave me a lot of time to waste on the foreign brands.

There is a line in the sand, though...I can have my opinions, and still be cordial...I will not blast you for driving a foreign vehicle ("you" used in a general sense, here). I may playfully jab you in the ribs, but I won't make a show of it. I also recognize there are some competitive foreign vehicles. But recognizing it doesn't mean I have to like them.

errrrrrrr, Chrysler is owned by Fiat and is an Italian company. So are they like Toyota and Honda that are owned elsewhere but built here?

But I do understand your point.
