Well on top of all my other life problems I have a guy that wants to talk to my boss and have my job.
He brings in a notebook for his daughter and grand daughter and says it has issues. So go to work on it and it is passworded and no one ever calls me back with password. So I blow the password on the administator account in Vista and get the machine working right with that account. They take machine home and all is fine with that account.
Then they say it has same issues with other accounts on machine that the admin account I fixed no longer has but the other accounts do. So machine comes back in and they finally give me the password. I check the account and it all works fine. So I call the customer and say I can't find a problem, could they please come and show me the problem. He says call his daughter. I do, no answer so I leave message to call me.
She calls me and I explain I can not find a problem. She is about 1 hour away so I say just have you dad come by and I will show him since he saw the issue and he can see it working ok.
Next thing I know this guy is calling for my boss. I called him up and asked did he mean me or did he want my boss. He then lays in to me that I was rude to his daughter, rude to him this morning and he wants to talk to my boss and get me canned.
Then he tells me his daughter is coming for the computer tommorrow and if I am mean to her it is all over for me. And he is going to tell everyone in town we suck.
I am like WTF. I even asked the office manager who sits behind me if I had been rude to anyone today and she said no. This is just another headache I do not need.
