You know.....I don't think we can go wrong either way.

Everyone here has basically said both are great....just a matter of preference. And quite frankly, I don't know that much about cameras in general except point and shoot hoping that it will not be blurry.

We went to Best Buy yesterday and literally spent two hours holding and playing with the different cameras. They were really nice. One thing I noticed about the Nikon was that it was heavier. I think it was the D1000 that I was messing with...about 750 for the camera. I'll have to look into the D90? I think that's what you guys mentioned.

But, they both worked really well.
