Pretty soon Hyundai is going to have to learn that you can't be a mainstream automaker and try to build luxury cars. There's a reason all the major automakers have luxury arms. The market fixates on your volume product (in Hyundai's case, the Elantra/Sonata), and expects that to be your typical pricepoint. When you start asking for $30k+ for a near luxury sedan when everyone expects you to sell $20k mainstream sedans, you'll have a lot of customers laughing their way to another dealer.

That's not what their financials and sales figures say. Hyundai/Kia is looking very good from a business perspective.
