No,... my way of thinking is supported by over 19 years of law enforcement training and experience. If an officer spots a firearm in the open within reach of a subject, the officer needs to react quickly. I am all for the right to carry laws. BUT,... use common sense and follow the law and concel it and then infom the officer when he makes contact with you. Its typically the "bad guys" who feel the need to keep the gun out in the open and as close to their trigger finger as possible, or just people who are just not thinking how it appears to LEO"s. Actually,... you are correct that alot of LEO's don't see it comming, but some do and need to be safe. And don't confuse what i'm stating either. I am all for responsible and legal and SAFE right to carry laws, but the manner that the OP listed as a holster would not be a responsible, legal or a safe way to carry. Matter of fact in over 19 years as a LEO I would estimate that 99% of the people who carry do it in a responsible manner, and I like the fact that there is a large majority of responsible armed citizens out there that makes the bad guys wander if the next person they try to victimize is one of the responsible citizens who have a CCW.
