how are you gonna say its not gonna beat it when it already did? Im not saying the z06 is slow at all but the performance of the standard boss 302 backs up that this wasnt a fluke. these cars apparently shine on the road course!!
if theyre racing from a roll on the freeway i would give the edge to the z06 no doubt. Road course? its gonna be close. extremely close.

a '12 C6 Zo6 does not compare to the car in '05, it got an update in 2008 and a HUGE update this year... did you see its return the the ring this year? it'd WALK a Boss 302, drag strip, on the ring, on Laguna Seca, etc...
it lapped the Ring at 7:22.68 this year, which was OVER 20 seconds faster than the car in '05(though it was rolling start vs standing, it's still A LOT faster than the debut C6 Zo6 on a race track)... you think the 302 Mustang will get within 20 seconds of that time?
Ford does not have a car that will beat the new C6 Zo6 on the Ring, not even the damn old Ford GT, which was only 2 seconds faster than the OLD C6 Zo6, lol(the '05 time)
