You'd have just as much (if not more) cargo room in the back as the last-gen TrailBlazer with the 3rd row folded flat.

Why the third row? If the bring it over like that they'll have 4 Chevy's with 3 rows in the US (5 in Canada): Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, Trailbazer (and Orlando). Then you have the GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, and Acadia. And of course we can't forget about the Cadillac Escalade and Buick Enclave. That would make for 9 (or 10) vehicles that seat at least 7 people in the GM lineup.
Ditch the 3rd row on the Blazer, save some cost, save some weight, and gain some space. If people need more seating and more cargo volume, there's always the Tahoe or Suburban.
