I've never thought of the current truck as "feminine." It actually looks styled, as opposed to the newer Fords, which I've always thought looked boxy just for the sake of looking boxy, and a bit like random pieces of sheet metal welded together in the general shape of a truck. If the designers really were worried about the truck being "feminine," why are they dumping a V6 into it?

The lightweight part has me a bit interested too. What does that mean in terms of payload and towing capacity compared to the F-150 and Ram 1500? Or perhaps is Chevy just going to be the first in a trend back to more down to earth sized half tons, and cede the work truck status more back to the heavy duties (which don't have to go through EPA fuel economy testing).
