Used All-Season's vs. New Summer's (until winter tires arrive) for cold weather??

Hey guys/gals... so I need some advice and opinions!

I mounted my Pirelli Scorpion Ice/Snow's on the Camaro today , and wanted to do my other car too (E36 M3), but my winters will not arrive until a couple of weeks from now. In the meantime, I'm wondering if I'm better off running my new PS2's (summers) that I just had put on, or if I should be using the used all season P-Zero Nero m+s tires that came mounted on my second set of rims while I wait for my winters? Typically, this is a no-brainer since the all season will clearly be superior in the cold for the meantime.... however.... they only have about 60% front and 20% rear tread left. It's been fairly chilly (between 0*C and 7*C) and wet lately too. The PS2's are great in the rain, but aren't that good in the cold, and I'm afraid the nearly done rears on the all-seasons won't do very well in the wet.....

So, what do you guys think?

(ps, the M3 obviously wouldn't see ice or snow until the winter's arrive, I'm not thatttt crazy )
