I have been on 10pm to 6am for the last 2.5 yrs, 6 days a week. I found that if you can sleep as soon as you get home, or within an hour or so you can get much more done than if you stay up and sleep until you have to go in. That and I think the key to this shift is routine routine routine....if you can't keep one it just makes it harder.
