I can only imagine the feeling, Skyman. Seniority means little when you're not union. Like you, I think we could cut back and squeeze by until early SS, but you're too young to retire, so find something you'd enjoy doing even if it's not in the EET field. I've often thought it would be neat to work at Lowe's or Home Depot, or maybe a boating store like West Marine. EET is my field too, so Ill keep checking the job postings for Boeing in St. Louis just in case something comes up. Best to you - keep in touch with your friends here - and stay positive!
