BTW, I searched for a thread and used the exact spelling and the exact name of the thread and it never came up. When I finally found it the hard way I spelled it perfectly. What's up with that?

did you search the thread title only?
there's an advance feature that lets you do that. Makes things much easier. you can also search for specific posts that a member has made.
