If I wasn't almost done with my Master's (with $50K in student loans about to hit payoff start date), and if I hadn't gotten laid off and been unemployed for two years until this past April, I'd have a V8...
No, wait. I'd still have a V6. Because I love the gas mileage, looks, cheaper insurance and it's more powerful than I need.

Plus I'm slowly learning how to work on these new cars that are all computerized (I miss working on my old dirt track car and on old trucks sans ECMs)... If I really screw up something I'd rather it be a V6 then a big expensive V8

I have my whole life to get a V8.
