ok - no more quoting or I won't make it into work.
Anyone that says a V6 ANYTHING over a C6 vette had NEVER driven the vette and obviously likes to drive slow.... how do I know? Cuz I speak from experience. And driving slow sucks. And my V6 was a PIG in comparison.
Looks wise? Sure. I can see where some say the camaro is a hotter ride. But that's was they have BOTH chocolate and vanilla. A flavor for everyone!

(oh wait? Can I say that? Or is that like me playing the race card? Oh damn..... this thread is gonna be locked for sure now!)

And about buying 3 V6's over one vette - really? Even at base level v6's, the vette was less coin. WTH? When did this become about $$? I was merely talking cars...

I thought I did too. But the C6 is a different beast - its the C4's and before that I don't like the looks of. Too many sharp lines for me.
Well.... I say this but then I still

every time I see one.....

Congrats on being a Vette girl now!
ps I don't know how you gave up having a convertible, though!!!

I was never interested in having a vette. My only experience with one was driving a restored 67 vette when I was about 22 and its nose seemed SOOO LONGGGG and I had no concept of wide turns or low riding cars etc, so its skewed my opinion of the vette.
My hubby (thebestguyontheplanet!) kept trying to get me to test drive a vette; apparently he knows me better than I know myself cuz one test drive was all it took. This baby handles like a DREAM!
And its still a "convertible" - better actually cuz I don't have to worry about rips or tears... and when the targa top is off, I can still talk on the cell easily whereas with the camaro when the top was down, I had to pull off to the side... this vette is just good for me all the way around.
