I was going to start a thread on watch collecting but decided to search instead!
This is my favorite watch of all time. It's a "boutique" diver watch with swiss ETA 2824-2 movement. It is made by Halios and is called "Bluering". There are only 100 in the world and I have #75. It cost me around $600.00
This is a watch that I bought in Turkey. It's a Lucien Rochat with swiss Valjoux 7750 movement. I paid around $630 for it in 2002. I've never ever seen a Lucien Rochat for sale in the US, and it is difficult to find information about it. It is not a fake, I have had it verified by reputable horoligists.
I also have an Oris Der Meistertaucher (master diver). I bought this in Dubai last year. It's a pretty cool watch, but a bit large for me. I may try to sell it, not too sure yet. It cost me around $1300.00. The nice thing about this watch is it's light weight. The case is titanium along with the bracelet. Even though it has a 44mm case, it's extremely easy to wear.
I've also owned an Omega Speedmaster, a Kemmner Octopus (another boutique diver), and a Marathon GSAR (military issue diver) though sold all three earlier this year.
There are far more expensive watches than these out there, but I like mine.
