We all do stuff we regret, but that is some crazy stuff and you think after hitting her the first maybe 10 minutes he would start to cool down and feel bad.
The fact that it took him over 2 hours and seeing all the bruising
to realize he went too far is pretty disturbing, and a testament to his mental state!
