Actually, it's a good test. Another video here comparing it to a non-iPhone.
Doesn't look like the iPhone compares in durability to other phones. I've dropped my android (one time arcing in the air about 3 feet over head height), and though I've gotten scratches on the case...never have I broken a screen. I saw a video earlier today comparing it to another phone with brand new phones dropped 3 different ways. iPhone fared poorly.
