No, I've never installed one but I'm pretty well versed with wiring crap. I've repaired things replacing components on circuit boards, made my own LED turnsignals for my old car, done a ton of car audio and custom wiring...as long as it gives me the right colors and/or harnesses I'm not at all worried about the install.
I just started researching, I'll look into the brands you suggest. So you think I'll probably need a bypass also?
I can probably find the wiring, if I know anything about forums that info is always out there. I'm curious about True OEM vs Aftermarket that plugs into OEM vs true aftermarket. Apparently there is an OEM remote start but seems overpriced of course. Saw things like this:
http://bit.ly/nkdhyZ that looks to have nice wiring harnesses and you hit the lock twice and it starts. I'm afraid of that though. Shes always a worrier and of course hits her lock like 5 times when she parks. Could be a pain.
I know when I installed my steering wheel radio controls I had to get the ECM update, I'd assume you need that for an OEM install?
