IMO the Volt is like saying lets just do away with the V8 and go with all V6 sports cars. Nothing by all means wrong with that in a lot of peoples eyes but many americans are not Reeady for that move just like buying an electric car seems to futurisitic for many.
When fuel hits $7 a Gal Volts and Etc will appeal to more.
