Find a Class 3 FFL dealer in your area to do the transfer (most of them can help you with the paperwork too) 5. fill out the ATF paperwork completely (involves finger printing) and have someone meeting the criteria for the paperwork sign off on you (Chief of police; Judges, ...depends on the state sometimes); 6. Send the completed paperwork with a $200 payment to ATF for the processing of the paperwork and a back ground investigation; 7. Once ATF approves you, they will send you a license for that one firearm you are purchasing. 8. After payment arrangements are satisfied, the seller (who may be a class 3 FFL dealer himself) transfers the weapon to your Class 3 FFL dealer in your state (you pay him a small fee for the transfer) 9. Take possession of the weapon and always keep your license with it - always. 10. shoot it to your hearts desire and discover how expensive a hobby it can be sometimes.

You sir, are very helpful...
And having a FA weapon would really just be for occasional kicks... I know how fast a weapon can burn through a 30 round mag... Thats not exactly 10 bucks well spent, lol.
