Like they already said with the running game we have we haven't needed to throw the ball. HOWEVER, when we face faster, more athletic defenses that can stack the box and contain our running game, Denard will have to step up and make those big throws to loosen the defense back up. If he can't make good defenses respect his arm we will get beaten. Denard's passing has been lackluster but that's part of learning Borges' new offensive system. He's adapting and Borges is adapting to what Denard is comfortable with. Last week was a big improvement in Denard's timing and comfort throwing the ball, even though it was against inferior competition. It was still a nice confidence booster and is yet another key piece to the big puzzle. I like what I'm seeing so far as I think they've come a LONG way in a short time.
