The LCD should be placed between the speedo and tach.. I am sure you can upgrade but with this kind of tech being offered stock, it will be no time that there are aftermarket systems that can retro fit any older cars. It should be based off of a NAV system as far as distance and time go, everything else is probably an on board sensor...
I refuse to sell my 2011 but a 2015 might be in my future... I am among the 200,000 that thought the 2010, 2011 and 2012 looked better than the 2005-2009.. plus, it was delivered and picked up 6 hours after my 2nd son was born.
