Last I heard, diesels in light duty trucks may be gone in the next 5 years alltogether. Price to comply with updated emissions may run as high as $5G just for the exhaust. Add in the higher price of the engine, and the break even point may be too high. Hope I am wrong, but you can only fight city hall so far.
