By the way, remember that if this does make it stateside (which it appears that it will after the UAW contract for Wentzville), its sole competitors would be the Tacoma, and to a lesser extent, the Frontier. Pretty much everyone else has pulled out of the market.
Market it, price it, and package it correctly, and GM could have a hit.

Agreed, but I'm more surprised by their choice of engines; what's the point of having two engines with barely any difference in displacement? This truck would be an excellent showcase for the infamous 4.5L baby duramax. I think it may be very well received in diesel shops.
