I also complained about the small teeny tiny visor doing absolutely nothing for blocking out the morning sun on the driver's side. Then there came posts about did you buy the Camaro for the visors and manual? uhhhhh, no. I got the Camaro because I LOVE the Car. It is my 3rd Camaro and I am still madly in love with the look and performance of the car. I have recycled my cover and it is now covering my 2012 manual. Do you think this could all be because I'm considered "an old fart?" LOL

You might just be an old fart.... To expect quality in ALL aspects, including the manual cover is a "good ol' days" thing... But it's OK! Being an old fart isn't so bad...

Great idea to recycle your old cover, BTW!
Regarding visors: there is a post from FBodfather regarding the small visors being a safety issue somewhere in the forums. I was talking to him at a show in July, and a few of us were discussing what some see as "flaws", and he explained reasoning behind many of them, including the visor. Apparently, larger (pre-made, used in other Chevy models) visors were giving the crash test dummies frontal lobotomies, so the smaller visors had to be specially designed for the Camaro - they were actually MORE expensive, and were not a cost cutting measure, as some have proposed. I make sure I always have my sunglasses...

Welcome to our little corner of the forum - you can be sure you will be supported in here, and we don't go bonkers over little stuff. I for one, don't have the energy to go bonkers anymore!
