Well was away for a few days.....went to the SWAMP to watch my Tide play.....First a few observations about my trip.....
Florida is classless. Period. From the moment we arrived we were met with " Go the "F" home...ok Frat boys who are drunk....... Then we get " Everyone is getting raped tonight in the Swamp"....Finally we get into the stadium and go to the concession stand run by a Group from the local Baptist church....We get You came along way to watch them get "Stomped in the Swamp" again trying to laugh it off.
We got tickets in what was supposedly the faculty section. The Florida fans sitting real close to us was pretty nice, but then the chants of "F..U.. SABAN" trust me they were not stating Florida University", Then came the "F Nick Saban" of course this was followed by the throwing of items at us each time Alabama scored and by the game score you can imagine they threw alot. They threw caramel popcorn, threw drinks, cups etc.....Remember this is the faculty section where there was kids and the people behind us had no respect. This lasted until the middle of the 4th qtr. The fans sitting close to us apologized and one of them finally went to get some law enforcement but by that time the damage was done.
Florida, The Swamp, their students and fans are Classless. I guess the F doesn't stand for Florida. I know a few knuckleheads can make an entire group look bad and is not a reflection of the whole crowd but I know at Alabama Games it is not tolerated where I sit. If someone is liquored up and gets out of the way, then they are gone, throw something and go to jail.
When we played Texas in the BCS, those people we very nice, even after the game, at the airport going home, stop in Dallas....all were extremely nice. Penn State Fans were great.
The Greek Counsel had a fund raiser for the Tornando relief and presented it at half time......they chanted "F the bammers" Really? Really Florida is this how you really are?????

Ok off my rant....Alabama looked good but played an out manned team.....Sure their backs are fast, and we got burned on one play, but after the first qtr they got 82 yards the rest of the game and Brantley played the second qtr. Florida is with a first year coach....Saban went 7-6 his first year at Bama....So Florida has some things to get done but they will under their coaches.

I guess I might be in the minority but I still think OU is the best team....They get a test this weekend.
