Sort of. It's a common misperception because of the name. The ethanol you get from Corn is made using the sugars from the corn itself. Whereas Cellulosic ethanol is made via the cellulose in the plant-matter (i.e. stalks, leaves...the crap that is usually thrown away anyways). But the end result is Ethanol, no differences but the process.
