The car has been sitting outside in the elements for over a year. even if the windshield was just spiderwebbed it would probably look like this. In a year there would be snow, heavy rain, possibly hail, plus the temperature changes that would allow the windshield to flex even more. One good hailstorm or heavy snowfall and it would push the glass in.
