I was 16 and gave my neighbor $400 for it back in 79..
said that was all he wanted for it. Rest is history..
Speaking of...
My neighbor has now passed but his wife still lives here...
I still live in the same house as you can tell by the photos above...
But anyway they have lived in theyre house since 1966...
and they still have theyre 1967 coupe which they did a partial restore in 04
prior to my neighbor passing....
They bought it brand new in 67, has the protecto plate etc....
Ill post some pics of it if yall wanna see it..
His widow still has it. Only thing that has kept me from buying it is that it needs a garage for a home and as you can tell I do not have a garage...
I even painted the blue car you see in the photos in my driveway...
I don't know if thats just craziness or passion... It is what it is...
