That assumes California is run in a logical, rational manner. If it was, it wouldn't be the hot doo-doo pile it is today. I'm making plans to move to Texas or Virginia ASAP.

I think the easiest thing to do might be to just "sell" the TracKey through Ford Racing (I think you already have to pay for the key even if you get it from Ford) as opposed to including it with the car at delivery. I think then Ford wouldn't really need to bother with CARB. Either that or give up on CARB certification and let some Nevada Ford dealers get some extra business courtesy of CARB.
