I think everyone needs to pull the wax from there ears and see there is no recruiting advantage over this network.
Its going to be the same thing as the Big10 except all Texas.
there needs to be a list of the rules what can and cant be shown on TV.

Yeah Jekyll, the NCAA, and the Texas UIL ruled, and even the Big XII voted that the TLN couldn't show High School games but several Big XII members were angered by TLN's agreement with Fox Sports to move a conference game to the Longhorn Network and their recent decision to show
high school football highlights.
IMO, I think most of those outside of Texas Alumni see it as following the letter of the law....but not the spirit.
If Texas wants to have TLN and they can...good for them, I really don't care either way. Should they have to share what they built and put their money into? No, of course not.
I agree with a list of tv rules....The problem with creating a list of rules for what can and can't be shown on tv is that all the conferences that have such rules also have a
conference network. There is no Big XII network (which this conference could & should have created 10 years ago) so I think Texas is fully within it's rights to create their own network.
The Big XII members knew of the network creation, but no one really said or did anything until the ink on the contract with ESPN was dry. If the other Big XII Members wanted, rules in place, they should have been proactive and not reactive to it.
