I certainly wouldn't let that experience define the rest of the owners.
The only time I flip the bird is if someone deserves it. Last time was a GTO driver (high schooler who lives in our subdivision who's daddy bought him too much car) who ripped out of a gas station just to pass me with their turn signal on merging into my lane missing my car by inches. I followed it to the next light, pulled up next to it, rolled my window down and flipped that punk the bird. I sat there for a few moments to make sure he and his passenger got my point and went about my business.
I saw said driver pass by my house about a week later while in the Challenger. I followed him to his house just to make sure who's dad I may need to deal with if it occurs again.
