I'm almost 20, and I can't remember how many stupid things I did when I was 16, and completely sure of how much better a driver I was than the rest of the world, and I'm sure in five years I'll be saying the same thing about myself as a 20 year old.
Everyone does stupid things. Maturity is knowing when to do stupid things. The open road is not the place to drive like a DB. If you want to drift, race, etc, put it on a track.
