Please remember that quotes from stories and/or movies are acceptable only when the quote is EVIDENTLY being said by the quote's author. In other words, it's gotta' be clear that the character is a thinly veiled representation of the writer of the book or movie. The example I used earlier of a quote from Poor Richard Almanac: "A stitch in time saves nine." is known to everyone in this country as having been said by Benjamin Franklin.
Since I am not familiar with the author of "Spaceballs", I couldn't say whether the author's quote is CLEARLY BEIUNG SAID BY THE AUTHOR or not. I take your word, of course, that it is. To make me better understand, who is the author responsible for your selected quote?
