Where are you looking, my man? You can get some damn nice Chevelles for decent prices if you look on websites such as autotraderclassic.com, carsonline.com, hemmings, and ebay motors. Granted, they won't usually be original, but they will look the part which is all that matters.

Here's one for 27k.

A cool silver one for 23k.

A decent clone for 20k even.

... and those are just at CarsOnline. If you want a good deal, usually you have to look out of state - simple solution, hire a classic car appraiser to look it over so you can have peace of mind, or go look at it yourself. Let me know if you have any luck!
