Same here. The 5th gen has some styling aspects of all three years of the first gens but brought into a modern light.

Not so sure it will be. It really didn't add anything new or cutting edge, just took what they had powertrain wise, retro looked the body with the modern flare and released it. I love the car but in no way did it go over the top in styling or performance...unless you consider the soon to be released ZL1. Now that may be one of the all time great cars someday.

I was lucky enough to own both a 69 Camaro and 71 Chevelle. If you measured fun factor, the Camaro wins hands down. The Chevelle was a great car and I loved it, but if I had them both at the same time, the Chevelle would have seen a lot of garage time while I was out in the Camaro. The Camaro turned more heads and provoked more converations than the Chevelle. The Camaro handled better as well. I will give ride quality to the Chevelle though

That car rode so smooth!
