Yep, you got it there, boss. The table is larger and most notably it has no pockets. The "snooker" table is a third variety, I believe, that has a group of bumpers of ball height in a formation located in the center of the table. It's quite well liked in Britain. I tried playing; it'll take a lot more practice to render my game passable.
