I have a similar story with an ex. Bugged me for a while after we broke up, on and off. Was getting sick of the 3am drunk texts and phone calls, so I added the family blocking plan from Verizon. It's $5 a month, and meant for parents to block numbers they don't want their kids calling. Good thing is, she can't call/text me and I can't call/text her. For $5 a month, it's great piece of mind. BTW, it's been 2 years, and she still tries to contact me via email, but I can just delete those. Good luck.
