"OKIE STATE" paid for their own facilitties with the help of T. Boone Pickens and a bunch of other alumni that tried to match his donation collectively. It's been a major undertaking over the last 4 years. The TV deals were just icing on the cake.

I would like to see the Big 12 survive but it seems like a forgone conclusion, unless they can woo someone to keep this conference alive until another major university comes along.
