Futhermore, the White House is not the only part of government that makes the rules. They did not make the decision alone to bail out GM. It was a Congressional decision. It seems to me, it would take a congressional decision representing the tax payers to force GM to do anything.

in Obama's eyes, GM is not a private company anymore..That is the real trick behind all these "orders"...

I agree, a sub-forum should be created to allow talk of politics once more. I think it is about time considering the Government will soon own a majority stake in GM.. This forum shouldn't cater to silencing or censoring talk that I feel is very important during these times.. Remember that sugar-coating everything and erasing threads that are simply going against the current administration is only helping out the take-over..
