the plant in KY that makes Calcium Carbide (the only one in the US) blew up a few months ago..... haven't been able to make any acetylene. I could cut with propane, but can't weld with it.... and its about $500 to switch my setup over to it!
I've made a few signs like these (although smaller)..... can put pretty much anything on it
. I also made one with the letters cut out.... made it into a lamp so it projects the writing up on the wall
